Give the earth some LOVE

Earth Hour 2009 was not the inclusive event I thought it would be here in my neck of the woods. (I did a walk to survey the area and was very disappointed in all the bright lights I saw). I can only conclude that this calls for some Spread the  LOVE tactics. I have a year to plan my concept. Shall I use humor? Love? Guilt? Snazzy  design? Only time will tell!

9 days later ...

9 days later , rain has caused the ink to run  & the paper to curl...

More ideas on "Love"

Some "Love" I am working on based on the idea of finding a message in a bottle on a beach. Bottle found at Jacob Riis Park this past Saturday. At the time of this photo the bottle is filled with one week's worth of hearts. I am going to try and see just how many will fit. Now imagine this : creating - from recycled glass bottles - a series of message bottles & placing them so that they can be found by people. Question is : where?

Lost dog

From a long time ago but this still remains due to a generous layer of tape.

2 days later...

Went out this evening to see what was left of the luck I had spread . Someone had written "thank you!" on one. How sweet! You are welcome!

Spread The Luck

Kicked off the "Spread The Luck" campaign today. A lovely , sunny St. Patrick's Day, I took my usual walk, hanging some luck here & there. Can't wait to see if anyone took some luck & it should be interesting to see what happens to the signs as time passes.
